This site is designed to support educators across the Ballarat Diocese as we adopt all elements of the Victorian Curriculum from 2017.
This site is also designed to provide information and documentation that complements content on the Victorian Curriculum website http://victoriancurriculum.vcaa.vic.edu.au/
All documents found on this site have been developed or modified by CEOB Education Officers in an attempt to assist schools to audit existing curriculum documentation and to plan at a whole school and cohort team level.
Navigating the Victorian Curriculum F–10 The link to the videos below on the VCAA site provide a short introduction to the new Victorian Curriculum F–10. They show new users how to navigate the website and are designed to help teachers and education professionals familiarise themselves with the functions provided by digital publication of the curriculum. http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/foundation10/viccurriculum/navigate.aspx
Professional Learning A series of online professional learning sessions has been designed to help schools and teachers familiarise themselves with the new curriculum. Deep familiarisation with the Victorian Curriculum F–10 is essential for turning the curriculum into a comprehensive teaching and learning program.
The next series of sessions is being offered during Term 1, 2018. Dates and times will be announced via F-10 Curriculum Updates.
Each session has a capacity of 500 registrations. Schools are encouraged to register once for sessions they wish to attend and to organise their technical resources to attend as a group, if appropriate. All sessions commence at 3.45pm and will run for an hour.
If you follow the link below you will be able to access the sessions from last year and details about what is planned for 2018.
